Meet The Team

Aaron Thomas

Aaron Thomas

Aaron is a multimedia journalist currently working as a freelance producer and videographer. Aaron started his journalism career in broadcast news, covering breaking stories for an award-winning CBS affiliate. He also helped launch an online news network, which covered stories of the local community in Spokane, Washington during his time at Gonzaga University. Later on, Aaron transitioned into filmmaking and video production, most currently working in post production at Microsoft Studios. He is used to wearing multiple hats, with expertise in editing, shooting, and scriptwriting (and a little bit of acting). He is passionate about community outreach and using his skills to tell others' stories. He enjoys video games, wrestling with his dog, taking photos, and talking endlessly about movies in his spare time.

Tremaine

Tremaine

Tremaine has been making and editing short films since 2016. She is a graduate of the University of Washington Film and Video Production program, with experience in all aspects of pre- and post-production, with a strong focus on editing. Her work includes multiple-award winners from festivals around the world (Percy and Reggie and the Great Parisian Air Exposition, Nightmoor Manor - Episode 1, The Kinesigraph). She is passionate about the art and craft of visual storytelling and soundscape creation. Prior careers include corporate executive assistant, non-profit project manager and dental hygienist, roles that demand exceptional communication skills, organization, time management, and professionalism. In her free time she is almost always contentedly engaged in some creative multi-media project or other.

Varun Saxena

Varun Saxena

Varun is a filmmaker and a computer scientist who strives to blend creativity with technical know-how. With a masters in Computer Science and hands on experience working on multiple independent projects as a cinematographer, Varun seeks to learn and grow in both fields. Passionate about writing and visual storytelling, Varun explores creative ways to bring projects to life.

Jake Samson

Jake Samson

Jake is an ex-software engineer who has channeled his technical skills and chaotically obsessive nature into filmmaking. While incapable of turning down the opportunity to practice any role on or off set, he specializes post-production and direction. He currently works part-time for the University of Washington as studio administrator and editor for an online certificate program, and spends his free time trapping friends in uncharismatically long film debates.
